Wow! Do you ever just feel the need to lay down after you've struggled with a card for so long?!?! LOL That's sort of how I feel after this one. I do love the result here but man it was almost painful to get to this point. Im still not totally happy with a few aspects but at some point you just have to walk away... and well, I need to walk away. So! This is my entry for the DP2 Challenge #8, over at The Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge Blog site the challenge was to use 2 of Mo's images (a big challenge) in a Christmas SCENE (good golly! Another challenge) I was determined to do it and it might have been easier, had I a printer at home and a program I could use to merge them, however I do that at work, print them and bring them home, so what I had at home was what I had to work with! So after an entire day of labouring over it (dont feel too sorry for me, I'm a anal freak, and it's a labour of love! LOL) I've come up with this cute Winter delivery card.
Whew! Gonna go lay down now....well, after I post the incredible photos of my disaster zone of a scrapbook room.... then I must go clean it up!! Then if I've not started another project...go lay down.

Very cute, your coloring on the squirrel is amazing, great shading! Good luck and thanks for joining in on the fun at Mo's Challenge blog.

This is clever! Sorry you had such a hard time of it, but I'm sure we can all relate! Glad you could share it with us in Mo's challenge.

ReplyDeleteFantastic job, your coloring is beautiful
ReplyDeleteI love your use of a step card for this challenge. What a great solution when you don't have editing software for merging images. It looks like the card isn't a typical step card - I would love to see a template if you were able to share!
ReplyDeleteI think you did a terrific job on this challenge... but like you, I struggled with thsi challenge also. I guess that why they are called 'challenges'!! Hugs from here to there, Peggy
ReplyDeleteA fab card! Well worth all the effort you put into it x
