Copic Club With Cheri ~ Flowers

So the next Copic Club with Cheri is this Friday....August 13th (hope you're not superstitious! ;o) ) This month we're going to focus on colouring Plant life.

We will talk about how the same rules of closest and farthest still apply to colouring your flowers, but also how colour appears in flowers, they're petals and such, where to add more colour and less colour.

We'll talk about depth of colour and use some real flowers to look at for inspiration. We'll do some more work with Greys and I'll show you how to create the perfect shadow.

Really hope you can make it to our class this month, we're going to have a lot of fun playing with our markers as always and hopefully learn some stuff along the way! Class will start at 6:30pm with alittle intro to copics for those who've never been to a beginner's class and 7pm for those who have.

First Ever Copic Club With Cheri

Im so excited to tell you about a new adventure I'm going to start on with my favorite LSS Creative Accents. Once a month, starting on July 6th (that's NEXT TUESDAY) we're going to start a series of Copic nights, where we get together and learn and share colouring techniques with our Copic Markers. We'll learn about shading and blending and light to dark. We'll learn all the ins and outs of the markers. Make sence of that numbering system. All while hanging out with like minded Copic crazy friends! I just cant wait to start. This first week we're going to start off by focusing on colouring....one of my favorite things.......wait for it.....

ANIMALS!!!!

We will learn how to follow the rules of light and dark...closest and farthest and make that soft and cuddly fur of theirs look soft enough to curl up on as the sweet boy in this Mo Manning image has.

We'll learn how to make shiny wet noses (A trick that works with water and windows too!)

Add Depth to the fur and shape to the animal. Add highlights with a Gel pen.... prolly tell some stories of our fur kids while doing it all.

Oh....and.... how did this get in here?!? LOL Monster Kitten you can't come too. :o)
