XanderZone Blog Hop

Im  gonna just quickly say that....while I NORMALLY never do the whole generated post thing... I think it's more fun to have something different to read... The girls went to so much work to do this and I think you need to read it all.... Im gonna just leave it as is. :) REad below and do what you can, to help my dear friend Betty.

Welcome to the Xander Zone!!  You are in for quite a trip through todays Blog Hop and Auction.  Our dear friend Betty Roberts, owner of Simply Betty Stamps has just found out this week that her 17 year old son Christian has Stage 1 Throat Cancer.  He will be having surgery next week and many months of Therapy to follow.  (To read more from  Betty on what’s going on please go HERE)

Betty’s DT and the Crafty Sprouts DT along with a few friends have come together today for the From the Xander Zone Blog Hop and Auction!  If you are stumbling into this hop please head to Crafty Sprouts to catch the beginning of the hop!

If you hopped here from …….then you are right on track!

As you hop along today you will see cards created with Xander, the first in a new series to be released called “From the Xander Zone”.  He is available with a donation to Betty’s family.  Christian will be undergoing Surgery next week to remove his tonsils and then the thrice weekly Therapy will begin on the tumor.  His therapy could last for many months.

There is also  a contest running through October 16^th and Christian will pick a random winner who will receive the whole collection!  The details on the contest are at the SBS blog.

I have no items to Auction, I'm simply here to show you a card I made for Christian. My heart aches for Betty and her family. I have no words... as it's heart wrenching. I just have this..

Ok... Im gonna send you on your way....

Pink Ink ~ Erica's Sketch

And I finnally got time to join my insanely talented teammates this fortnight! I havn't had alot of time to play with my stuff lately and actually create anything, so I was SO happy to finnaly have a weekend to craft my heart out with my Crafty Catz. I made this card, using my own clear rubber stamps (FOR THE FIRST TIME!!! Can I tel you how cool that felt?!?!?) I used an image by Simply Betty Stamps, also available at graphicatstamps.com  AND paired it with the Graphicat Designs Awesome Kids set

Perfect boy card I think! My own son LOVES science and anything messy so this was a great image to remind me of him. I've used Pink Paislee Phantom papers and then glittered up the Goo punk with some Stickels  I was quite happy with all of this!
Be sure to hop over to Pink Ink Sketch's and join in with us this fortnight.
AND Graphicat Designs has a sale on this set right now.... so hop over there too!
