It's Sunday! Day of lazy mornings....and a house full of tired pre-teen boys for me! Oy!!! Do I even have enough cereal in the house to feed then. Anyhow....that's my issue this morning. It's also time for 2 challenges at my 2 favorite places. Of course, over at Stamptacular Sunday our challenge is

Lovin From the Oven

Now, over at Creative Accents, my favorite little Scrapbook Store we also have a challenge for you, for the month of February we want to see what the love of Chocolate inspires you to create.

OK!! So you can imagine this was a difficult challenge for me.... LOL I used one of my neglected MFT Stamp sets and came up with this....

Ooooooooh, I had fun with this. Firstly my image is all 3D'd, hard to see at this angle, plus I used my airbrush around the edge of the nestie. My papers are all from a new set by Memory Box we just got in at CA, those tickets are a combination of TH stamps and the set from MFT. I've used some neat Memo pins from TH to stick the tickets into those awesome flowers made with my new fav Sissix die (MUST have for crafters I have to say!!!) And I think that's that!!!

Stamptacular Sunday DT ~ Creative Accents SOTM

It's another winter wonderland Sunday morning here in the puddle.  It's GORGEOUS outside! I love this scene.....

This is the view off my deck over looking the frozen and snow covered lake....so peacefull! So as you read this I will be sitting in my favorite chair, drinking my favorite coffee from my favorite mug looking at this! *sigh* it's Cheri heaven.

Anyhow! Im daydreaming again. It's Sunday and that of course means Stamptacular Sunday!!! Woot! This week our challenge is a sketch! And those are my favorite kind! (hmmm....sensing a theme here) The sketch this week is.....

I've used a MFT image cause for one, I love them, for two, they're our very generous sponsors and for three, over at my favorite LSS Creative Accents we have them as the Stamp of the Month! Wow! How many more reasons do I need?? So here's my creation with the sketch

 So I tilted the sketch for this one and I've used some GREAT papers by Cosmo Cricket and the die cut is a QK image. Now, I made the card up for the sample board at Creative Accents as well as this fun tag below, which really turned out to be my favorite of the two!!

A Very Late Stamptacular Sunday

Seems to be a trend for me this last week. Argh. I apologize to my STamptacular teamates for dropping the ball on this entry. Ive had a rough week. I hurt my back and it's hard to sit in the pink room for long, and then we had a tough weekend here in my little family. So.... I regret this is so late. Anyhow...moving on. Stamptacular Sunday DT ~ Sketch

Hello everyone! Im so glad to be home!! I was visiting Vancouver for a week, shopping and visiting with friends and family. It was a great time, but Im glad to be home with my hubby and furkids. Stamptacular Sunday DT ~ BFF

Hallo everyone! Guess what I have for you today?!? Yup yup, a Stamptacular card....but not only is it another Stamptacular card, it is not, I repeat NOT a halloween card! LOL Now dont get me wrong, Im loving the Fall coloured, jac o Lantern glowing, Witch Haunting cards more than most....but I had fun veering off for abit to create this week's Challenge card. Our Challenge this week is B (Buttons) F(Flowers) F(Friends). YAY! And our fabulous sponsor for the week is :

My Favorite Things

I have used the Baby It's Cold Outside image for my card and oh it was so fun!!!

I had alot of fun with this image, I've coloured her and the snowman with Copics (NOT that you can SEE the Copics under the glitter on my snowman here...apparantly I was just "practising" LOL) Anyhow, then I've glitter-ritz'd the snowman and ground and then cut them out. I stamped and embossed the snowflakes and then used my distress inks for the sky and popped the image up from the background. I thought it turned out fun! My papers are all by Harmonie and I've put some Twinklets on my flowers and button to make it look frosty. Now I'd show you the inside but Blogger seems to be giving me some greif this evening. So....the inside is much the same and says "But Real Friends Last Forever."

OK Everyone! I hope you've enjoyed my first Non-Halloween card in awhile! LOL Sure hope you can join us over at Stamptacular this week too!!!

Stamptacular Sunday DT ~ Distress

Happy Stamptacular Sunday everyone!! It's that time of the week again, and this week out challenge is to Distress your card!! Who hoooo! Gotta Love that! Our Fabulous sponsors this week, is our friends at My Favorite Things who have once again given the DT some great stamps to use for our challenge. For my card I've used my Hoppy bunny stamp with his Java! :o) Of course, I love this stamp and this sentiment as well. Check it out.

So, I've distressed the heck out of my image, as well as I've used my distress ink and various stamps to stamp the stains around the card. I've cut these 2 coffee pots out with my Cricut Kitchen cart. And I've used my drippy Goo punch to hopefully look like dripping coffee....who hasn't had this kind of a day!?!? LOL And the inside is....

For my card this week I've used the MFT Friends Furever stamp and made this

I made this card for my son Bradley, he's been away at grandma's for awhile now and I sure miss him. So I sent him alittle care package that included this card. the image reminds me of our big Tonka and well....Bradley if he was still little like I'd like him to be. :o(

Anyhow, my papers are all from BG Max & Whiskars again (told you I loved them!!) I've coloured the image with Copics and viola! there you go..

Stamptacular Sunday DT ~ Aperature

Whew, the weeks are flying past... Im afraid the snow's going to be falling soon at this rate. It's crazy! So it's another Challenge from Stamptacular Sunday!!! This week our challenge is to create an Aperature card! LOVE IT! As STamptacular explains:

Create an aperture card. This is a card that has a hole in the card front that allows you to see a part of the inside of the card...This is usually done by stamping the main image on the INSIDE of your card and cutting a hole in the center of the card front so you can see the image when the card is closed. Hope that makes sense...

On to my card for the challenge!!!

I have made a shaker card/aperature. So fun! I just loved this image from MFT By the Seashore Everything about it just says summer. calm, relax, *sigh* right.... where was I? LOL Ok, here's a better look at the card.

So, to make the shaker I've used some BoBunny packaging, I stamped and coloured the image in copics, then I've also died the tiny beads with my Copic refill ink (these take overnight to dry....just to forewarn you! LOL) Anyhow, I was quite happy with the shaker aspect. Then all my papers are from the new BoBunny Paradise line. I had fun making this card.. but um...it did take me a day or 2.... LOL

Well I think that's it for today! I have a kid free week this week. My son is visiting a friend so I should have lots of guilt free craft time! Who hoo!! But then my poor puppy's upcoming surgery is getting closer..... and there will be much less craft time Im afraid... :o(

Stamptacular Sunday DT ~ A Tribute To Fathers

My goodness, the weeks just fly by....it's Sunday again! Which means....Stamptacular Sunday Challenge!! and this week the challenge is A Tribute to Fathers. My card is for my own father. This image from My Favorite Things is just perfect for my dad as well.. he LIVES in his chair...watching his TV... it's just perfect. And OMG are these papers from Creative Imaginations not the BEST man paper?!?! LOVE IT!! I loved it so much I used one of the "logos" from the paper and put some crackle accents on it. Which in the photo doesn't show up so well as you cant see the logo below, but it looks pretty cool in RL. This is my first attempt at paper peicing, Im not totally sure how I feel about it yet...we'll see.

Stamptacular Sunday DT ~ Life's Beach

For this week's challenge over at Stamptacular you MUST create a card or project that has a beach theme, something that you'd see at the beach or just uses colors you relate to being at the beach. And our Sponsor for this weeks challenge is Shirley's 2 Girls Shirley has given each of us on the design team an image to work with this week... and as SOON as I saw this gorgeous girl an idea popped into my head and well... LOL I ran with it.

Now, it's not your traditional "Beach" themed card.... I tried to use some bright Summery type colours... but the beach theme really becomes apparant when you see the inside of the card....

LOL!! OK! So I've been alittle cheeky here. But that is exactly what I thought of when I saw this wonderful girl sitting in her chair... was OMG! It's bikini season!! Which would really be MY reaction to seeing the hot sun come out and someone asks me to go to the beach! hehehe. So, obviously that amazing image is from Shirley's 2 Girls. The sentiment on the front above her is from the Tongue in cheek colection from My Favorite Things. The inside sentiment is just me and my computer... ;o) My papers are All bo Bunny Sophia collection.
