Stamptacular Sunday DT ~ Falling For You

Ahhh, Sunday mornings. Normally I LOVE them. And especially at this time of year when I can sit with my coffee and stare out and the perfect sweet  white snow. But my hubby is leaving me for camp again tomorrow after only one short day with him. :o( So it'll be a sadder sunday today. Anyhow! On to , happier stuff, Stamptacular Sunday!!! Our challenge this week is....

Falling For You

To make a card using the colours of fall for a card about love!

Now, this card was abit of a challenge for me, as for us...here in the Arctic (LOL ok so not REALLY Arctic...but northern Cananada anyhow) we are in Full Winter mode....so Im OVER Fall.... So while I did use Fall colours and word love it's a bit more of a Christmas card. hehe Anyhow, here is my card...

So ALL of the stuff I've used for this card is from Creative Accents, and the card is there too if you wanna see it IRL. The papers I've used are all from Basic Grey and those CUTE Reindeer  are from Stampavie, the tag I've made is a sentiment stamp from Stampendous. Allrighty peeps! I sure hope to see you joining us!

Sketch Saturday ~ Meowy Christmas

Who hoo!! I have another Christmas card for you! And an entry to the Sketch Saturday challenge this week! YAY Me! I get to play in a challenge for a change, something I miss dearly! I've used a new stamp I got from Creative Accents the other day and some new Bobunny papers as well!

OK! Finnaly, blogger is cooperating and I can load my card! geesh! So I have used my QK nesting circles and my spellbinder scalloped circle to cut out the front of my card and have my CUTE Stampavie Mouse on the inside of card peeking out! I've surrounded the edge with flowers.

Ok, I dont have too much to say about this one. Been a busy, fun weekend and Im SO tired!!!

Stamptacular Sunday DT ~ I Do I Do I Do

YUP! It's that time of week AGAIN! It snuck up on me this week... woke up this morning and thought... What day is it? Sunday? ..... CRAP! I dont think I've posted my Stamptacular Card!! Ok...so in my defence, this has been... well... a VERY tough week for me. Without getting into details... lets just say it was rough. So... I'm gonna do this post up fast cause it's a few hours late... I apologize to anyone who visited here this morning looking for the details for this card.

The challenge this week at Stamptacular is I DO I DO I DO, For this week’s challenge you will create a WEDDING or ANNIVERSARY themed card or project. So simple and yet, still a challenge…right? OK! My card, you see the front above here. I've used a Stampavie, Mo Manning stamp Fred and Ginger, aren't they adorable? With the sentiment from My Favorite Things.... Which has the cheeky retort on the inside of the card. This card will be for my own anniversary this July... it's quite suiting to my husband and myself. :o) OK... I better get this loaded.... Friday Sketchers ~ Another Mothers Day card

OK! So this is what I was TRYING to achieve with my DT card for Stamptacular. I had it in my head but was just so tired last week and the deadline was nearing that I had to kind of give up and go with what I had at the time (which I would also like to point out that I TOTALLY misread the challenge and did it wrong anyhow!! Geesh! Was supposed to have had a LADY on the card!! I really need to get more sleep....) Anyhow. THIS is the card I'd been hoping for. I found the sketch over at Friday Sketchers  and NOW I'm happy. I had really wanted to combine this Stampavie image with this Quickutz tea pot die. And now I did! I added the flower soft to the tea pot to look like flowers flowing from the pot. Anyhow, I hope you like. It's all the same stuff as I used for Sunday's card.... see below...just beter!! Or I think anyhow. The inside is my usual... but says Mother's Day.

Stamptacular Sunday #57 ~ Mother's Day DT

Hello again everyone! It's SUNDAY!! Time for another great challenge over at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge Blog The challenge this week is to create a card or project with some sort of lady or woman on it! Create it for your mom and you're entered twice for our fabulous prize from Stamping Bella!! Gotta like that.

Now, my card. I was SOOOOOO tired this week! Ugh! I was away at an all weekend crop in the lower mainland last week which was SO FUN but of coruse, exhausting. Late nights, and then the 6 hour drive home.... and then back to a hectic hctic work week. ANd I of course left this card to the last minute, so after my busy exhausting days at work I came home and worked on this. I had something totally different in mind, but it just wouldnt work in my over tired brain. So this is what I've come up with (stay tuned...after a good nights rest and some more work I did make the card I WANTED this to turn out to be! LOL) ANyhow, the stamp is from Stampavie, I am so loving their images right now! All of them... they're all good! And my papers are from My Minds Eye. Which I've never paid much attention to, but I dont know why....they're gorgeous! Must watch those racks at the store more....  I've coloured the image with my Copics and even put a few dew drops on the flowers with some liquid accents. Thanks for stopping by! Sketch Saturday

I just loved this sketch over at Sketch Saturday this week, had to do it! I had coloured this CUTE Stampavie Stamp right after I bought it, I actually coloured it 3x but the first 2 images were confiscated by some VERY sweet little girls... how could I say no when they love Auntie's colouring more than anyone, they're my greatest fans! :o) Anyhow, I made this card with my one last image! LOL

I dont have too much to say...it's fairly explanatory! LOL I must be tired.... dont have much to say tonight, I must be coming down with something!! LOL Oh... I should mention, in case you didn't know, that the papers are the new BoBunny Sophia....so pretty!!

Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge

This is my entry for the challenge over at Sunday Sketch and Stamp It's a great sketch by my bloggy friend Barb. What fun!! The stamp I've used is one from Stampavie, from the Tina Wenke collection. Isn't it CUTE?!?!? Love this little mousey. The papers are all from Basic Grey, the Indian Summer pack. I've coloured with copics of course!!! LOL

This is my first post done with my new Laptop!! yippee!! I was so excited to get this for Christmas...and well... I've been playing with it ALOT...and therefore have not made alot of cards this week...which was the plan originally when I found I had the week off. I thought...ya! Lots of time in the pink room....BUT.... alas, I was playing on here instead....well that and the holidays, trips to family...visiting family....that sort of deal. Any hoo.... I hope you all have had a great holiday!! Take care of yourselfs and Happy New Year....I hope the new year brings you all great creativity! :o)
