Oooops...STamptacular Sunday DT

OK! So ya....MAJOR Crunchie moment for me..... (know what a "Crunchie" moment is??) I apparantly MISSED the last page of my Stamptacular Challenges.....so thought my term was up 2 weeks ago... NOT!! Argh! Im sorry once again....too much on my plate as usual. SO! Since I have a coupla weeks left, this week's challenge is "Are you Talkin To ME?" We want you to make a sentiment the main focus of your card! And what a perfect opportunity for me to showcase one of MY new digi images Tires OR? So, here is my card this week.

Now I had another Crunchie moment when I MADE this card...as I got confused by the Tire images thinking it would be a BOY card....um ya...not so.... if I gave this to a guy Im sure I'd be UNDER the darn tires.... Good Grief! So after all that... I COULDA added flowers and all the purdy stuff! Oh well... I do like how the colouring came out anyways.

My Last Stamptacular Sunday DT card

Well, here it is. My last card for Stamptacular Sunday, as a member of their DT. :( It's been a great year! I was and am still so thrilled to have been a part of such a FUN team and challenge blog and while Im SAD to be stepping down, I know I'll be back to join in on their challenges all the time! I had to step down to make some time for me to get my butt in gear and my own business of stamping off the ground and well... here we go! So thank you so much to Pricilla and the rest of the team at STamptaculr Sunday, It's been a fabulous year with you!

The challenge this week is You Lucky Duck! To create a Congrats or Best Wishes Card. And I thought this Irish Blessing was PERFECT for such an occasion.

heheheeee, Love this Frog! Him and the sentiment is from High Hopes and is the Stamp of the Month over at Creative Accents this month! Love it!!! Here's a close up of that sentiment so you can read it abit better.

And since you still cant read it well....cause I over distressed it! LOL It reads

May the light always find you

on a dreary day.

When you need to be home,

may you find you way.

May you always have courage

to take a chance.

And my you never find frogs

in your underpants!

And with that...I'd like to dedicate that sentiment to my girls at Stamptacular! :) Take care of yourselves!

Stamptacular Sunday DT ~ Shadow Box Card

OK! So I totally lost track of what freakin day it is!!! Geesh! I was thinking it was Saturday and I'd post tonight! BUT NO!!!! It's Sunday! Ugh! What a moron. So I'm sorry my post for Stamptacular Sunday is late! Our challenge this week is to:

FRAME IT!!!

We want you to some how frame your image on your projects. I took this opportunity to try that Shadow box technique and frame one of my FAV Whipper Snapper stamps.

I just love this effect, the photo doesn't really show just how dimensional it is. But it's VERY fun.

then on the inside it looks like

I've covered the back of the shadow box and used a Quickutz die to decorate. The sentiments I've used are from a Kraftin Kimmie set and then I've of course used some nesties. That gorgeous paper is LUSH.

Stamptacular Sunday DT ~ A Card for Katie

Well...today is a special day for my Stamptacular Sunday post. I dont always like to combine my DT work, but these past couple weeks have been tough for me, and well, this particular challenge all worked together so well. At Stamptacular we're challenging you to SOS that is make Something for that SomeOneSpecial. And well... I was honoured to be on the Simply Betty team when she was asked to join in on a very special mission, to help raise much needed support for Katie and even more honoured when they accepted some sentiment designs from ME! So today, my card is for Katie herself, using the image that Betty drew for her (only available HERE in this kit, along with my sentiments and other fabulous images)

Stamptacular Sunday DT ~ For the Love of Chocolate at Creative Accents

It's Sunday! Day of lazy mornings....and a house full of tired pre-teen boys for me! Oy!!! Do I even have enough cereal in the house to feed then. Anyhow....that's my issue this morning. It's also time for 2 challenges at my 2 favorite places. Of course, over at Stamptacular Sunday our challenge is

Now, over at Creative Accents, my favorite little Scrapbook Store we also have a challenge for you, for the month of February we want to see what the love of Chocolate inspires you to create.

OK!! So you can imagine this was a difficult challenge for me.... LOL I used one of my neglected MFT Stamp sets and came up with this....

Ooooooooh, I had fun with this. Firstly my image is all 3D'd, hard to see at this angle, plus I used my airbrush around the edge of the nestie. My papers are all from a new set by Memory Box we just got in at CA, those tickets are a combination of TH stamps and the set from MFT. I've used some neat Memo pins from TH to stick the tickets into those awesome flowers made with my new fav Sissix die (MUST have for crafters I have to say!!!) And I think that's that!!!

Stamptacular Sunday DT ~ Three's Company

It's a happy Sunday here at my little house in the snow.... :o) My boys got a big new toy. I'll post a pic of it at the end of my post here. It is of course Sunday and that means another challenge over at Stamptacular!! This week our Challenge is:

Now at first I thought....ppphffffttt!!! how hard is that?!?!?! Easy peasy....and then.... well I started to put it together and OY!!! LOL It was alittle harder than I thought! But....in the end! it worked awesome! Here is my card for this week.

So this is another stamp from Art Impressions isn't she Fabulous?!?! LOL And that sentiment is a stamp from Whipper Snapper My papers are all BoBunny and well.....flowers from Wild Orchid.... 

Allrighty then!! That's it that's all. This was a card I'd made for another friend with yet another January birthday! Geesh! LOL Hope you had a great day Marianne!

Cool huh? That is of course my son....unloading it from the truck. My hubby got himself a nice new Polaris 850, giving the older 450 to Bradley. They are happy boys! :o)

Stamptacular Sunday DT ~ Creative Accents SOTM

It's another winter wonderland Sunday morning here in the puddle.  It's GORGEOUS outside! I love this scene.....

This is the view off my deck over looking the frozen and snow covered lake....so peacefull! So as you read this I will be sitting in my favorite chair, drinking my favorite coffee from my favorite mug looking at this! *sigh* it's Cheri heaven.

 So I tilted the sketch for this one and I've used some GREAT papers by Cosmo Cricket and the die cut is a QK image. Now, I made the card up for the sample board at Creative Accents as well as this fun tag below, which really turned out to be my favorite of the two!!

Stamptacular Sunday DT ~ Photo Inspiration

I really dont like to start off my posts with an apology...and I try to follow that whole rule of "Blogging without Obligation" philosophy of not having to apologize for lack of or too many posts and all that jazz. But I have been slacking at my Stamptacular Sunday DT requirments. For that I AM sorry, to my teamates and followers over at STamptacular...without getting into the whole explanation, I do have a very valid excuse and well it was not just the business of the holidays. My father in law is very sick, terminally sick and well, my family has needed me alot the past few weeks. So while Im TRYING to keep up with it all....I at times have dropped the ball. Anyhow...that's all Im gonna say about that!

Isn't she lovely? This is an image from my Favorite Simply Betty line of Steampunks, she's just gorgeous and I thought perfect for this photo. I've used papers from a DCWV pack called Street Lace and made up some more of my Glimmer Mist flowers. I've made it into an easle card as it just seemed to need to be....

Stamptacular Sunday DT ~ Treemendous

Happy Sunday all. And what a pretty one it is. The snow is softly falling here, my house is quiet and lit by Christmas lights. My furkids are all surrounding me, it's very peacefull. I have another Stamptacular Sunday card to share with you. Our challenge this week is:

To use a tree on your card somewhere. And while it doesn't have to be Christmas related, that's what I've done here with this CA-UTE House Mouse image.

OK, so I've coloured the image in Copics and then glossed up that ornament with some Glossy Accents (it was still wet when I took this that's why is SUPER shiny!! LOL) Anyhow, I really should actually address and send some of these Christmas cards of mine.... so off to do that! A Very Late Stamptacular Sunday

Stamptacular Sunday DT ~ Blue Christmas

Good Morning everyone! It's a wonderful Christmasy morning today! Do you all have snow... I love looking out at the white... specially if it's snowing.... So pretty. It's Sunday, and that means there's another fun challenge over at Stamptacular Sunday! This week we're asking you to make a Blue Christmas Card, using only shades of blue. Stamptacular Sunday DT ~ Falling For You

Ahhh, Sunday mornings. Normally I LOVE them. And especially at this time of year when I can sit with my coffee and stare out and the perfect sweet  white snow. But my hubby is leaving me for camp again tomorrow after only one short day with him. :o( So it'll be a sadder sunday today. Anyhow! On to , happier stuff, Stamptacular Sunday!!! Now, this card was abit of a challenge for me, as for us...here in the Arctic (LOL ok so not REALLY Arctic...but northern Cananada anyhow) we are in Full Winter mode....so Im OVER Fall.... So while I did use Fall colours and word love it's a bit more of a Christmas card. hehe Anyhow, here is my card...

So ALL of the stuff I've used for this card is from Creative Accents, and the card is there too if you wanna see it IRL. The papers I've used are all from Basic Grey and those CUTE Reindeer  are from Stampavie, the tag I've made is a sentiment stamp from Stampendous. Allrighty peeps! I sure hope to see you joining us!

Stamptacular Sunday DT ~ A Season of Giving

Hello again everyone! Man I've been busy lately... LOL ...or it seems like I have lots of projects to post anyhow....maybe it's cause I'm sceduling them all at the same time or something....Aiyi Yi! Today's challenge over at Stamptacular is A Season of Giving! NO cards allowed this week! We want to see a gift! :o) So....since it's NOT ThanksGIVING here in Cananda any longer, I've made up a Christmas present with a jar candle. I love doing this, it's quite a quick way to personalize a candle.

This stamp is from Stampendous, I picked it up on a whim cause I LOVE snowmen...LOL and when I was looking for the right stamp to use on this candle I picked it up and thought what a perfect sentiment!!! I was really quite happy with this, those snowflakes I've made on the sides too look so much better IRL, they were a cheap find I found at Michael's, a big bag of foam snowflakes in various sizes, I've put 2 together, added a button and then added twinklets to them and MAN do they sparkle!!! So pretty! Anyhow, sure hope you like my creation and that you can join us this week over at Stamptacular!!!

Hello everyone! Im so glad to be home!! I was visiting Vancouver for a week, shopping and visiting with friends and family. It was a great time, but Im glad to be home with my hubby and furkids. Stamptacular Sunday DT Inspiration

Good Morning everyone! It's time for another fun challenge over at Stamptacular Sunday! This week Im so excited as we have abit of a different challenge for you, we are doing a DT Inspiration challenge. So each of us DT members have done something different for you to follow, so you get to choose which of our projects you want to use for inspiration. And for my inspiration, since Im SO into making my own sketches lately, is a sketch!

And my card using this sketch is here below. I've used an image from Art Impressions, isnt it HILARIOUS?!?!? Oh I just love these ladies!! LOL

 
I've coloured them with Copics of course, and that's one of my hand made flowers. And on the inside I've used one of my FAV sentiments from Skipping Stones.

Stamptacular Sunday ~ Colour Combo

Good morning! Time for another challenge over at Stamptacular Sunday. This week we have a colour challenge for you, use the colours Purple, Orange, Cream and Green....oh and Black if ya like!

 I have had this card in mind for abit now, my Slice machine has this awesome coffin on it and I wanted to do this little stalker card....LOL Here is my well used image of Mummy Lola from Simply Betty Stamps....Together Forever, Till Death Do us Part! heheee.... The coffin door opens to reveal the inside.

The skeleton is from the Halloween set of Tim Holtz stamps that my dear friend Tanya bought me for my B-Day...isnt she the sweetest?!?  anyhow....he's spooky huh?!? And the inside....

Oh another lazy Fall Sunday!! (or at least Im hoping for one as I write this) This week at Stamptacular our challenge for you is Anything But A Card and our sponsors are one of our very own DT members Leonie AND Meljen's Design. I have used one of Meljen's images for my project today, I've made some little Doggie Treat boxes.

Now, I've used a pattern from Splitcoast to make these little cuties up! And the cute little puppy from Meljens. They must be pretty good cause I could barely take this picture as my Tonka Dog was trying to steal the boxes! LOL

Good morning all!!! It's that time again! Stamptacular Sunday! Did everyone enjoy World Card Making Day?? I spent my morning hopping thru the amazing Lil Hop of Horrors and the afternoon at my favorite LSS Creative Accents with some fellow card making friends. Today's challenge at Stamptacular is Layer It On!! To use at least 5 layers on your card. Did you SEE the creative genious of our DT??! Crazy cool stuff huh?? So here is my card for the challenge....

HEHEHEeeeee!! Isnt Bat Cat Ca-Ute?!?! I just love him. My papers are all by BG and my laying I cut out with my Slice and then those letters in TUNA are from BG as well. Anyhow, I think I must be tired tonight as Im out of things to say!!! !OMG! Maybe I'm getting sick.....LOL Have a great sunday everyone, cant wait to see your 5 layer creations.
