Whiff of Joy Challenge

This is my entry for the WOJ card challenge over at the Whiff of Joy Challenge blog They have some amazing prizes for this week's challenge as it's their 1YEAR ANNIVERSARY!! Congrats to them and Happy Anniversary. As Ive said before I enter thie challenges more than any others. This week was a sketch by one of my FAV bloggers Rach, her work is amazing and inspiring. I hope I've done her sketch justice with this. I wanted to do something boyish. Here's a couple closer looks at the card and the sketch that I based it on.

The papers I've used are from Karen Foster and Renaissance. The stars I stamped around the oval is from CTMH, I think this might be one of my new favorite treatments, done it a few times now and I love the result. Thanks for looking. Whiff of Joy Challenge

I should SO be in bed right now! But I was just so happy with how this card came ot that I HAD to stay up and post it! How sad is that, I need a life I suppose! LOL Ive done this for this weeks challenge over at Whiff of Joy And since I love it so much, I think I'll enter as another entry for the guest DT call over at Katarina's as well. The challenge was for a GORGEOUS sketch. Loved it! And I've been wanting to use this stamp from the Fall set since it came and well, was waiting for the PERFECT idea to come to me. Anyhow, I like it. HOpe you do to.

I have stamped and coloured the little scenery background there with my Copics, then same, stamped and coloured Mathew (Ithink that is his name, that's what I've been callin him anyhow! ;o) ) I cut him out and have popped him up off the page abit . The papers are all by BoBunny. And I've used some "faux" stitching via rub ons and a peircing tool and pen! I hope you like him as much as I do! thanks for looking. Whiff of Joy Challenge

The challenge this week at Whiff of Joy is to use Orange and Teal! Two of my favorite colours so wasnt too hard to put this together. I think it turned out allright. I've used Copics to colour, and the papers are by Kaiser. I have plans for the inside as well, I just need to go to bed, so thought I'd post this and then work on the inside tomorrow.

Apparantly getting my "panties in a knot" is a good thing for me design wise. As this card really didn't stress me out as much as some of them do. And well, tonight Im in a state I tell ya. Some woman decided to curse and threaten my son at school today. Ya, on the first bloody day, a GROWN woman, a MOTHER of another boy told my son he better watch it cause she knows where he lives. Im just vibrating over the whole ordeal. So, the theme for this card is HOPE....for a better day. Will be the inside sentiment if Im not in jail tomorrow....

Whiff of Joy Guest Designer Call

OI! I can never get my pics loaded in the order I want them! I forget EVERY TIME!!! Geesh! So, please take the time to scroll down and see all of them.

Whew!! Here she is, my entry for the Whiff of Joy Guest Designer call over at Katarina's I was so excited when I saw this call as the Whiff of Joy's are some of my favorite stamps and well, I think they're they site I enter the most challenges for! They were certainly my first challenge site anyhow. Ive learned alot and "scraplifted" some amazing ideas from their current design team. I HOPE they like my colouring and my design. Cause, I think this one D*** near gave me a coronary! LOL SO, below is my girl, from the Fall line, my fav of the bunch I think (well next to Mathew of course! ;o) )

What I have done with her is coloured her many many times over... LOL.. and then poped her up like paper toille ( I did that YEARS ago!!). This was fun, looks GREAT, but my goodness... I must be crazy as it's alot of work. But well....it's for a GREAT design team!! Had to go all out. LOL

Whiff of Joy Challenge #45

OK, So below is a card I started a few weeks ago for a challenge over at the Whiff of Joy Challenge blog. I thought I'd missed it, BUT this weeks challenge is for BLING!!! And sincemy paper has lines of glitter on it, I figure it qualifies!! yeah! I apparantly uploaded the pics in the opposite order I was meaning to.... one day I'll get this whole blog posting, pic editing stuff down pat! one day...... So here is my girl, isn't she CUTE! I mean really! She's Whiff of Joy obviously, and well, I was pretty impressed with my colouring on this one. Surprised myself alittle. I coloured her, cut her out (I know!) and then stamped her again on the underneath card, coloured in a shadow and used foam dots to pop her up!! Alot of work really for the outcome....but look! It's so cool.

The sentiment says Grandma's never run our of hugs or cookies and is a Bobunny sticker card. the Papers are from SEI, and I"ve used nesties and a fiskars border punch. And the flowers are prima I believe.... buttons just generic.

Whiff of Joy, Just for fun!

So you can prolly guess about now that I've stamped a bunch of images from Eulanda and from Chris too. I think I may need to get more of my own stamps!! (look a reason to go shopping!! LOL) Anyhow, I just made this card for fun cause... well I wanted to. The stamp is WOJ, the papers are from SEI (Chocolat line) the sentiment is from Rusty Pickle, I put some liquid glass on it, not that you can tell from the photo. Anyhow, I hopeyou like.

I think I may take a little break from cards for a bit and do some scrapbooking!! It's my first love and doesnt stress me out as much as cards do! LOL They really dont come easy for me.

Whiff of Joy and Copic Colour Challenge

OK! So I'm excited, I'm entering this one card in 2 challenges! Over at Whiff of Joy's Challenge blog the challenge was to Peirce something on the card (I have done so around the image and on the inside as well) and over at the Copic Challenge site they had this cute sketch to follow... so I've done both. And I'm pretty happy with the results.

I have used a Whiff of Joy stamp (of course! isnt she sweet, I borrowed her from Chris, thanks Chris) The sentiment is a WOJ as well. The papers are all by CTMH. Thanks for looking!!

Whiff of Joy Challenge

This is my first entry in a challenge. I've been wanting to for awhile but I never get them done in time and well.... I didn't know how to do it, so I'm gonna mess with it till I figure it out. The image of course is Whiff of Joy and the papers I've used are from a CTMH sample pack. I hope you all like!

Wishing You Well

So this post is for Eulanda. I made this card up quickly tonight so I'd have something to put up here for you my friend. Thanks for your kind words yesterday and today! Your compliments mean the world to me because you ROCK!! Anyhow, the scan on this card doesn't do it justice and well the inside of the card is so pretty too but the scan was horrid. Anyhow. I used BG paper and I embossed some vellum in the cuttlebug. The image is from Whiff of Joy, isnt she gorgeous?!? I hope you like.

On another note, I DO have lots of new scrapbook pages to upload, I just need to take some pics of them. Maybe possibly tommorrow?!?! I'll try. Thanks for looking!

Full Speed Ahead

This little guy is from Whiff of Joy! Oh my Gosh do I love these stamps!! His name is Oakley (Oakley with Scooter to be exact) LOVE HIM!! He reminds me so of my little man (or not so little anymore) Bradley. Anyhow, he's coloured with Copics and highlighted with the Ranger Inkesstential white (think that's the right name/spelling) I used a Bo Bunny Card sticker for the sentiment and ooooooh what is the name of that paper??? Love it too..... hmmmm. Anyone?

anyhow, this is another fav to be in the not to be given away pile.... LOL
