Creative Accents SOTM ~ Sketch Saturday Challenge

The fabulous new Stamp of the Month at Creative Accents is the fabulous image by Mo Manning "The Big Guy Grilling" in Stampin Bella rubbah!! Oh my my!! how can we not be happy about that?!?! who hoo! Love it. I couldn't wait to play with him...so I found a great sketch at  Sketch Saturday and viola....here's what I came up with.

OH I loved this image! But OH how I fought with my copics!!! (which honestly is VERY RARE for me! Those markers are like my best friends...but today...with this.... AAAARRRRRRGGGHHH!!) BUt.... there's always something to learn with these and today I learned....when they say you should have paper below...well...you should have paper below. I'll explain more at an upcoming Copic Club with Cheri night! ;o) LOL Ok, so my papers are all from BG, the Ambrosia paper pad. I've used my Cricut to cut out the barbeque (word and graphic) and well...that's about it! :o)

Friday Sketchers Challenge

Happy Saturday everyone! It's so gorgeous out today and I'm down in the pink room.... hehe... oh well, I went out for awhile. It's a happy day. Got up early, got started on this card, then took Brad to a friends and went and wandered around Walmart...then went and found my big kid of a husband (has his old blue truck out...so he's seriously like a 16 yr old with his first truck! it's kinda cute) So we went for a drive. And then I had to come finish this as well it's for my sweet Jewel-y Bean...her party's today. Funny tho. I got all excited and thought I'll made a cool hot pink and black card for her, I mean what 12 yr old girl doesn't like pink?! And then my son came down and checked it out and says, why would you use pink mom? Jewel doesn't like pink..... Good greif! Apparantly I need to always consult that boy of mine BEFORE I start.... he's smarter than he looks and has the memory of an elephant! (cant rembmer to put socks on everyday...but he remembers the important stuff. ok....rambing again... Here's my card.

They have a great sketch as always over at Friday Sketchers go check it out! And that's what Im entering my card in. I've mostly made all the background. It is a pattern paper by KI that I used, but it's basically just pink with a subtle patern to it, but I stamped the stars all over it. Then I've used some Doodlebug glitter paper (note.... dont use Zip dry with this paper, you'll see on my inside pic that it actually stains the paper.... never had that happen before... I wasn't impressed) Anyhow, I REALLY over did the glitz on this card. There's glitter paper, glitter on the star, and lots of bling... I had to stop myself or I'd have covered more! This image is by STampin Bella, Margarit she's called, from the Ketto's Love her, she just reminded me of Jewel. Anyhow. Hope you like, here is the inside.

Stamptacular Sunday ~ Sketch

This week over at my FAV challenge blog Stamptacular Sunday we have a sketch for you to follow. I dont know about you, but THAT's my favorite kind of challenge.  I love sketchs and this one does not dissapoint!

I had allready had a plan in my head as soon as I saw this sketch. And I wanted to use my new little Wild thing image from Stampin Bella. I wanted to make it into a castle... and as usual it took me a painfully long time to get to a point where I'm happy with it! LOL But, here it is. Let me know if you think it's missing anything as I sort of think it is. But I also didn't want to over do it at all. Whaddaya think?

It's hard to see but I used my Scor-pal to make brick lines in the BG paper. My bling is from BoBunny, the Mamarazzi line. And the image is coloured with copics of course. :o) I hope you can all join us this week!!

Mojo Monday Sketch ~ Halloween Card

OK, this is for the sketch over at Mojo Monday I always love their sketchs and truthfully I keep them all ina binder and look to them first when making a card. All the papers I've used are from Harmonie and the Glitter'd up sentiment is also from Harmonie. It's a double sided tape sort of deal that you can peel, stick, add glitter, add more peices and more glitter. It's rather tedious but not impossible and looks neat when it's done!  The image is from Stampin Bella, isn't she CUTE!!! But bugger! This is one I've stamped off from one of my friends....Eulanda?!?! is it yours? anyhow.... but I only stamped one!! WTH! Was thinking I'd make 2 of these but nope... just had the one! LOL May have to invest in this stamp. She's cute and quick to colour. ;o) Thanks for looking!!!

A couple more shots for you. I find that I HAVE to do the insides of all cards these days. They just dont seem done till the inside matches the out if you know what I mean. :o) Have a great day!!!

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge ~ Tag! You're It!

I must be insane! Here I am, up again at midnight cause I have to post the card I suddenly got inspired with and just couldn't stop making it or wait to post it. I prolly should wait cause the glue isn't even dry yet and I'm sending it to a dear friend. I just hope she doesn't check the blog.... I dont think she does, so hopefully I'm safe!

This is for the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge The challenge is you must include a tag on your project. So I've made this little Friend tag from some chipboard. My stamp is a Bella, haven't used her in ages! But still love her. This is an image I borrowed from Shelley actually so I'm not sure of her name. The papers are all from CTMH. I even went crazy and did the entire inside of the card! Yikes! I love the look of this...but I'll drive myself crazy doing this all the time... and run out of paper. but then I just get to go shopping right? so that might be a good thing.

Anyhow, here are a couple more shots of it, inside and out. I MUST get my rear end in bed!

COFFEE!!!!! Canvas Wall Hanging

OK, so do you ever get so caught up in doing challenges that you forget to just do something for you? For fun? I do. SO! After getting frustrated trying to come up with the PERFECT idea for a Design Team call, I decided to take a break and do something just for me! And viola, here it is. This was so much fun for me. I LOVE coffee...and therefore buy any and every stamp I can find with a coffee theme to it....unfortunatly some of them have been waiting for their turn on the ink pad. SO! I think I used them ALL here!! LOL So fun!

Then AFTER I made it, I thought hey this is kinda funny and will fit into the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge!! LMAO SO!! Entering it I am! I noticed you cant really read the text on here so,the top line of text says: "I Dont have a problem with Caffeine, I have a problem without caffeine." And the bottom one, below the bella says "I dont do morning's untill I've had my coffee."

First I painted the canvas with MM Red Wagon paint and distressed it with some chocolate ink to tone down the red abit. Then for stamps.... I used, Grumpabella, Fluffles, All My Favorite Things, CTMH and my newest favorite coffee stamp set, TPC Studio's CoffeeCafe. I've coloured all th images with Copics and the coffee cups at the top (from TPC set) have "Foam" aka liquid applique and crushed instant coffee. The larger mug at the bottom (from CTMH) has brown embossing for the coffee. Im so happy with this whole thing. I hope you all enjoy it too. THanks for looking.

Craveabella

OK! So I agonaized over this card FAR TOO MUCH for how simple it is!! LOL AND .... wait for it..... I've ACTUALLY GIVEN IT AWAY! OMG!! Can you imagine?! I made it for my cuz who's about to pop anyday....hopefully not before she receives this card! LOL I didn't even make a spare!!! yes, I'm hyperventilating!

OK So I used CTMH cardstock and ran it thru the Cuttlebug. She's Craveabella, coloured with Copics (of course!) and I used my Nesties. I'm somewhat happy with how it turned out.

Cuppacakeabella

This cute little card is one I made for my GF Teila's birthday. I always make 2 so I can keep one! LOL Same old same old. Cant give just GIVE them away completly....Im getting a bit better, at least I gave her the other one! I love Bella's... they're SO CUTE!! Anyhow. This one is made from Cuppacakeabella of course, coloured with Copic's and there's Glitter Ritz glitter for accents on the cupcake. I ran the CTMH purple cardstock thru the Cuttlebug machine with the Happy Birthday folder and Glitter Ritz that as well for effect. (Have I mentioned I love glitter??) Anyhow, hope you like it!

Bubblebella

This is Bubblebella. Isnt she cute?!? She reminds me of my gorgeous bathtub... and where I should be RIGHT NOW! Anyhow, she's coloured with my Copic's and the title is done in BoBunny Sugar Coatings on thier double sided tape stickers. The paper (yikes can't member but was so pretty, it has kind of a sheen to it!) and generic ribbon from Costco. Have I given this card to anyone?!? Nope!! LOL
