This week our challenge over at STamptacular the challenge is Sew special!! To create a card or project with some sort of sewn effect! Now I dont know about you but there's something about stitching on a card that gives it an elegant, polished look! I love it! And I know those of you who stalk my blog regularily are thinking, you NEVER see that on my cards... There is GOOD reason for that! LOL First of all... I have no sewing machine and while Im itching to buy one... I think really, am I going to sew ANYTHING besides a card?!? Which seems alittle silly to me.... (Lets be honest I can buy ALOT of stamps with that money!!) And well the other reason is... I can't sew, in fact a real good way to see my mood change in lightening speed and hear the foulest language come from my mouth is to set a sewing maching in front of me..... and so..... in my long winded way...what Im trying to say is. I LOVE RUB ONS!!! hehehheeeee so the sewing on the following card is FAUX! haha ok... so here's the card!
Oh how I love this stamp from Stampavie. It's a Mo Manning one. I love her images, I have a bunch of them in digi format as well as in rubber. ANd have you heard that Stampin Bella will soon be releasing some her images in thier fabulous pin rubber?!?!? Im so stoked!!!
Geesh I get sidetracked easily today.... I made the card into one of my fav things... an easel! Here it is in all it's glory....
OK! So the details for my card are as follows. The image of course is Stampavie. The sentiments: on the front is one of those kid sayings by Inkadinkado. I just separated abit but I think it works. The ONe of a Kind sentiment on the inside is from a set of CTMH. Those gorgeous papers are from My Minds Eye (do you ever use a paper and think OMG I love this so much I should go buy a bunch more?!? LOL) And of course my STITCHES!!! LOL They are rub ons by Kaiser.
Allrighty then!! Thanks for checking it out and reading my lenghty blurb this week! And Hope you can join in the fun with us over at Stamptacular this week!

I love the card.... I love the image... I love the "stitching"! Great coloring. Mummu is one of my favs of Mo's, too, and you did a beautiful job with this card. Hugs!
OH this is so cool!! Stitching this week you say?! Ok, I have to make a father's day card and birthday card so this would be good for those. Well, rub-on stitching is good for everything. I love this card Cheri!! So many perfect things about it but your coloring is the best!!
I L-O-V-E this card! WHY?? Glad you asked!!
the image: to die for!
the coloring: seriously, did you color that??? FLAWLESS!
the layout: rockin'.
the easel card: my favorite too!
sentiment: PERFECT
details: I'm not big on lots of fru-fru fluff on my cards so the little buttons are just enough and not over the top :)
and your whole description about sewing (NOT) ...DITTO! I swear we are stamping-soul sisters, LOL.
I have this stamp and love it. It has been great for friends retiring. I love you sentiment and nice job on the card.
