This week over at my favorite challenge blog, (Stamptacular Sunday if you dont know) the theme is.....wait for it.... PENQUINS!!! Whoo hoo!
Did you know that April 25th is "World Penguin Day?" Well...what are we waiting for? Let's celebrate! Create a card or project that reminds us of a penguin. You can do this by using an image of a penguin or simply by creating a card or project that is made with the colors black and white. Be creative!
Man did this card stress me out! This is NOT my original plan... I had something else totally in mind... but I just couldn't get it to gel... MAN! It really shouldn't be this hard somedays! LOL Anyhow, I did have a sketch for this card as well, but I've left it on my work computer somehow... I'll load it later for anyone who'd like to see it.
I wanted to do something other than a winter or christmas card with my penquins and found this adorable scuba'ing penquin and my fav LSS Creative Accents. He's a stamp by Artistic Impressions. I've coloured him with Copics and well.... there's not too much to explain about this one. Thanks for looking!! and
Hope you like my beachy penquins.....cause....
Slowly, One by One, the Penquins are stealing my sanity!!!

Sometimes straying from our original plan works out perfectly- this card is super cute for summer or winter :)
Wow I did not realize it was Penguin day or that there even WAS a penguin day. LOL!! I think your card turned out great!! Even if it wasn't what you had in mind. The penguins are cute!
This card is just way too cute, and the verse had me laughing to myself. Great job!

Great job on the penguin card! I love it! They are cute little animals hey! LOL Sorry that they gave you so much stress!! Great card!!
I love it when Arctic animals are used in tropical designs! I really do!
It's such a funny card; those images are the best!
Great card (as always!)
and thanks for the sweet comment on my card :)
btw, LOVE the margarita card too. You need to tie that margarita image in with these penguins...I'd say that's a WIN WIN!
LOL Cheri! I know what you mean! I struggled with the penguins too - they just weren't cooperating. You really created a cute, cute card afterall! Love the image!
Your card turned very well, the penguins are soooo cute! I think any planned or unplanned project you do would turn out fantastic........
Your card is lovely... those penguins are so funny, Thanks for leaving a lovely message about my Penguin card and in answer to your question, the penguin image I used was downloaded, but I forgot to write down the site I got it from, which is a mistake as it had lots & lots of character pictures. It was from one of those children's colouring sheets site, if I come across it again, I will let you know.
Thanks once again
Love Diane x
