Kenny K Challenge ~ You Rock

I've been so busy with all the DT stuff for my 2 challenge blogs that I just needed to take a bit of a break and make something for ME! Ok, to more direct, something for my hubby! it's his birthday next week and I wanted to be sure to make him an awesome card cause he's just been so sweet and supportive of me in the past couple rough months. So... I'd been eyeing up this image for his card over at Kenny K for awhile, so I bought it and made this up for him.

Now over at Kenny K challenges they have a sketch challenge so I followed their sketch so I could enter it over there. Feels nice to be able to enter a card in a challenge...havent done that in awhile now! LOL Anyhow, it's also an easle card. My husband LOVES anything 80's (much to my dismay) so I wanted to make a joke on that for him. So the card says "You Rock My World.....Like An 80's Hair Band" heheheeeeee Hope you like my creation.

Some deets on the card are as follows:
Stamps: Kenny K digi image
Paper: CTMH You Rock paper pack, SU Silver Shimmer
Tools: QK Super Market 4x8 alpha, Little Yellow Bicycle stickers, BG chipboard shapes
Inks: Glimmer mist (on chipboard shapes), CTMH chalk distress ink.

That's that!! Hope you enjoy peeps!
Cheers

Stamptacular Sunday DT ~ Sketch Challenge

For the Kinderstampo Kids Just Want to Have Fun Blog Hop
PLEASE SCROLL DOWN

So this week at Stamptacular we have my favorite kind of challenge for you, a SKETCH challenge!! YAY!! This is our FABULOUS sketch for the week:
Our sponsor this week is ALSO one of my favs!! And that is Mo Manning at Digital Pencil I just love her images and own quite a few. She's offering up a $15 gift certificate for some of her AWESOME images!! Lucky winners! She's generously given the DT some images to use for our challenge as well, lucky us!! Now, I choose this Fabulous Raking image, that I fell in love with when I first saw it and thought what a great Fall image, and it is! but it's a large image and didn't fit with the sketch so well, so I had to move some elements around abit. Here is my card!!
I was quite happy with how it came out, I just LOVE this image! It is of course a Mo Manning image, the sentiment stamps I've used are all CTMH and the papers are BoBunny.  And the inside is:
It will be my brother's birthday card. hopefully he has it by the time this posts! If not it means I didnt get to the post office.... why is it so hard to get to the post office?? LOL

OK!! And we have a little bonus over at Stamptacular this week as well! We are sponsoring and supporting Operation Write Home!! You can find all the details on the Stamptacular Sunday Blog I hope you can join in with this wonderful cause!

Kids Just Want To Have Fun Blog HOP

Who hoooooo!!! Im so excited to be apart of another Blog Hop put on by the Fabulous Jess over at Kinderstampo!! You should have arrived here from her blog, if not, hop back on over there and join in the fun, we have LOTS of prizes and candy for you along the way!! My project for the hop this weekend is...for alittle older crowd of kids, my son is an 11 yr old xBox fanatic! So I've made a door hanging out of canvas for him, which he tells me is VERY KOOL (and that's Kool with a K for those of you who dont know Cool with a C...is well, the opposite of Cool! LOL or so Im told) anyhow, without further delay... here it is!!
I was purdy happy with the outcome. What I've done here is used a blank 8x10 canvas, I distressed the edge with some distress inks and then used some fundy DP paper from Kaisercraft. The image is a Mo Manning image (love it!!!) coloured with my copics and cut out with my new Wonky Square nesties. The title CAUTION is some Cosmo Cricket blackboard letters covered in more awesome papers. And then the Serious Players Only Ive used the Super Market font 4x8 alpha from QK (ooooh!! Another FAV!!) I've also done some stitching and then stamped those green circles on top with some green paint! And there you have it!!!

Now, your next stop is the UBER talented and my personal buddy

The Burtonesque Dolls Challenge & Friday Sketchers

Ok, first of all.....I had some super exciting news a few days ago.... I had WON the grand prize at the blog hop over at

Simply Betty Stamps

I was SO EXCITED to have won all 6 of her Victorian Beauties digis stamps. I was even MORE excited as I have been dying to join in on the fun over at

This week the challenge is to pick your FAV Tim Burton movie and design a card/project with that theme. My fav is well......look at my card and see if you can guess.... I hope you can.
Now I've also used the sketch from over at Friday Sketchers so Im gonna enter it over there as well. (I love their sketches!!) Have you guessed the movie yet??
How bout now?? LOL
It's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory of course. I just thought James here looked SO like Willy Wonka with his long purple coat.... now I got some what fancy with the digi and used both a full view and a close up so that it would fill up my nestie more. And I was inspired by this paper from Little Yellow bicycle that reminded me of a static TV screen. And remember the part where the boy goes INTO the TV screen.... well that's where the idea for the card came from.

Anyhow!!! Im long winded today! :o) I really hope you like my card.
Cheers All!!

Upcoming Class at Creative Accents ~ DP2 Challenge

This is a card Ive put together for an upcoming class at our favorite LSS Creative Accents. We're using one of the new Mo Manning images from Stamping Bella (you'll get to keep your stamp!!). I have cheated alittle and got the digi image so that I could create the card ahead of time. We'll colour her up with Copics (and I'll help you with that all the way thru! ;o) ) Use this beautiful paper from American Crafts, Letterpress collection. And this PERFECT die from QK. It's a perfect card for our GF's batting that old nemesis....numbers on the scale, or well for ourselves as it's not just a card...it's an easle card/post it note holder!!

I saw this somewhere...online or in a dream...Im not sure which anymore, it all blurs together... LOL But I thought it was a nice idea. We make all these cards and HOPE (no pun intended) that the recipient cherishs them, but if they're maybe alittle "usefull" they're more likely to stick around?? hense my post it note idea. how nice would this be on your friends desk? So, the date for this class is Saturday, July 26th, I really hope you can come out for it! would love to have you. Sign up at Creative Accents please!!

And then! Lo and Behold....Im looking about this morning and DP2 Challenge this week is an EASLE CARD!! yikes! Could that BE any more perfect??! So, we're gonna enter that for sure!

I did also get alot of laundry and running around AND another brutal boot camp class accomplished... so it's not like this is IT! LOL

OK...so about my card! This is Facebook Fanny..or at least that's what I'm calling her! LOL I got her from Mo Manning, when she was BRIEFLY offered as a freebie (lucky me!!) She is now available for sale at Mo's store...a place I frequent anyhow! :o) And she went FABULOUSLY with this sentiment I have from There She Goes stamps! PERFECT! Stamptacular Challenge #54 DT ~ Spots & Dots

Over at my fav challenge blog, Stamptacular Sunday the challenge this week is Spots and Dots! To use at least 2 PP with Spots and Dots on them! I was surprised at just how many papers I have that are polka dotted, and then, since I have such a hard time with desicions! LOL I decided to do 2 cards, a boy and a girl card. Anyhow, the sponsor this week is the wonderful Melissa from Meljen's Designs who's given me this Sweet little sick bear....poor guy.... anyhow, I've made up these little Get WEll cards with him. First of all, the girl card.

Papers are from Making Memories, Love Struck they're called. So pretty!
Stamps are, Digi image from Meljen's Designs, and the others are from an older Stampin Up set.

Now for the boy card:

I love boy cards. Probably because I live with just boys so... I make these alot! LOL Anyhow, the stamps here are all the same as on the girls but the paper is from BoBunny Mamarazzi! LOVE that line!

I have also used another one of my own sketches again. This seems to work well for me actually. I'll share the sketch with you again if you like. Same as before, feel free to use it if you like, just let me know as I'd love to see it when you're done.
Thanks for stopping by! I really appreciate it. Hope you found some inspirations. :o)

Teila's Birthday card

I have a couple cards to post tonight. I missed the deadline on the challenge for this one, but that's ok, I was making it more for my friend than for any challenge. I picked this image from Mo's Digital pencil as... well its one of my favs of course, and because of the mice. Teila loved her little mice she had to give away so I thought she'd enjoy them on the card. I jus tlove these Mo Manning images. I find I lean towards using them for everything! :o) Anyhow, here's a closer look at the colouring (with copics of course) below. Thanks for looking.

This is my entry for the Challenge over at Sketch and Stash Challenge Blog and at DP2 Challenge, they had the most adorable sketch over at Sketch and Stash and at Mo's challenge blog the theme is Birthdays! My something "New" from my "stash" is this image from Mo's Digital Pencil. I've made it into one of my new favorite things, an easel card as you see below:

Cute huh? I loved how the papers (all by BoBunny) worked together with this image. Really, most of the stuff I've used here is pretty new, with the exception of the papers. I've been struggling with my mojo the past week or so... and I think I've kicked it in the rear now! I've got much planned for today, so stay tuned, hopefully I'll have more for you latah!! Details for the card are as below:

Image: Mo's Digital Pencil, I believe it's called "Patience"
Sentiment:  Stampendous "One Can never have...." and the Happy Birthday is from CTMH
Papers: BoBunny and Stampin Up cardstock
Coloured with Copics!!!!  (that's definatly NOT new. HEHE)

Ciao for now!

Christmas Card ~ DONT LOOK EULANDA!!! ;o) (unless you got it!!)

So, this turned out to be one of my FAV cards I've made this year, and well, it had better be as it's for my UBER talented buddy Eulanda...She imspires me to step up my game, and we all need that from time to time dont we? anyhow, I went all out on her card. Firstly the image is another Mo's digital, SO darling! I had to get it as soon as I saw those gorgeous baby huskies... having one myself! I coloured her with Copics. Then I embossed some snowflakes around her and distressed the sky with some ink. Then...made the front with with the BoBunny Serenade papers, they're gorgeous arent they? I made the window in the centre with some nesties and QK circles, and stamped on the acetate with more snowflakes in Staz on white. ANYHOW! Love the outcome...take a look! ;o) I didn't even usea sketch! LOL

I hope she likes it! ANd you too...thanks for looking and again MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

Friday Sketchers Challenge ~ Chris's Christmas Card

Wow! It's been a week or so since I posted! Time is just flying, but alas that is part of the season I suppose. I love Christmas, SO MUCH... I just dread how fast it goes tho, soon it will be all over with unfortunatly....but I really think I should just make Christmas cards ALL YEAR to make sure I have enough! LOL anyhow, on to my card. I HAD to make a special card for a few friends. And this one I've made for my dear Friend Chris. My inspiration for her card was from her daughter and their 2 dogs, I had to include both of the dogs so there's the same image coloured twice inside and out. Anyhow! I've used the sketch from over at Friday Sketchers (there's always great sketches to be found there!) the image I've used is from Mo's Digital Pencil (as usual, I LOVE her images.... they are fast becoming mymost used "stamps").

Here is the front of the card, I've used BoBunny Serenade paper as the background. It's hard to see but the back peice is cardstock run thru theCB with the snowflake folder. The image (Mo's) is coloured with Copics and has Glitter Ritz for snow and Flock for her touque brim. I've also used some Peel and Stick stickers and filled them with more Glitter Ritz. Now for the inside:

Se, her one dog is the dalmation, and the inside dog is her mixed breed, who's black and brown. Cute eh?!

I've made the inside semtiment with a CTMH stamp and then distressed and stamped around the edge, i just thought this turned out so nice! It'sALMOST my favorite part of the card.
Anyhow! Thanks for looking! Merry Christmas everyone!

Sketch Saturday Challenge ~ Winter Wonderland

This is for the challenge over at Sketch Saturday, I really loved the sketch, it was perfect for a large image, and so many of mine are large images these days. Specially these Mo's Digital Pencil images. Isn't this little guy adorable?? Kai in the Snow it's called. SO SWEET! I had alot of fun colouring him. I've made it for a special person, I like to have the person in mind when Im making a card. I find it helps me for some reason.

Here is the inside of the card. The sentiment stamps I have used on the front and the inside are from CTMH.
The papers are from a DCWV pack I have. I like this blue snowflake stuff. Worked well with this. The Snowflakes are from Hero Arts.
Thanks again for looking!!!

A Few Challenges ~ Mo's Image

Ok, so I dont normally do this, combine challenges, but this one I have as well, it fits all of them and well ALL of them the prize is....wait for it.... Mo's Digital Images!! And since Im totally hooked on these at the moment, what a great prize for me! Plus, well, I just love to use her images anyhow, so making the card was no hardship! :o) First of all, over at DP2 Challenge Blog the challenge was to make a Christmas card for someone special, and well, I've made this for my son Bradley...how much more special do they come? 2nd of all, over at Digital Tuesday the challenge is Christmas Sparkle, to make the card bling like! (again no hardship for me! LOL) and last, ut definalty not least, when looking for the perfect sketch to use for the card, I found it over at Friday Sketchers. And seriously folks, how ironic is it that Mo is the sponsor for ALL of these challenges?! And I'm using one of her fabulous images?!?! crazy! I sure hope I win! ;o) Now, on to the card.....

Isnt it PERFECT!!!!! Ok, so here's what I've used.
Image is by Mo's Digital Pencil, called Video Boy
Coloured with Copics
Papers are by Harmonie
Chipboard shapes are by Basic Grey, covered with Glitter Ritz micro glitter
Die shapes from Spellbinders, Quickutz (TV and Snowboarder and letters)
Oh....and I gave him a touque from a snowman stamp set I have....just to make him look more festive!!

the TV is a shaker, filled with Tiny beads and gems.... Cool huh? I have a gift card holder on the inside for a money card to Walmart. Spoiled rotten kid.
Thanks for looking everyone!!!

DP2 Challenge 8

Wow
Wow! Do you ever just feel the need to lay down after you've struggled with a card for so long?!?! LOL That's sort of how I feel after this one. I do love the result here but man it was almost painful to get to this point. Im still not totally happy with a few aspects but at some point you just have to walk away... and well, I need to walk away. So! This is my entry for the DP2 Challenge #8, over at The Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge Blog site the challenge was to use 2 of Mo's images (a big challenge) in a Christmas SCENE (good golly! Another challenge) I was determined to do it and it might have been easier, had I a printer at home and a program I could use to merge them, however I do that at work, print them and bring them home, so what I had at home was what I had to work with! So after an entire day of labouring over it (dont feel too sorry for me, I'm a anal freak, and it's a labour of love! LOL) I've come up with this cute Winter delivery card.
Whew! Gonna go lay down now....well, after I post the incredible photos of my disaster zone of a scrapbook room.... then I must go clean it up!! Then if I've not started another project...go lay down.

DP 2 Challenge ~ Winter Delivery

This is my entry for the challenge over at Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge Blog I've said it before, I SO LOVE Mo's images...I fall in love with each one even more when I colour them. I loved this little squirrel almost to death... I went alittle overboard with the whitegel pen! LOL Anyhow. The challenge is a recipe, to use 3 papers, 2 ribbons and 1 decorative border punch/edge.  I decided to make one of the easel cards I've seen everywhere these days. Plus we made one in my Stampin up club thursday night, so it was fresh in my brain! And really....so easy! And a nice touch I think. Anyhow, thanks for looking. I always appreciate every time someone looks at my blog...and the comments are always so nice! Thank you to you all. :o)

*Sigh* and once again I should maybe mention that the papers are all by Bobunny! LOL LAst years Believe papers that I still love!

All that Glitters! Who hoo!! A challenge after my own heart! Love glitter! LOL Anyhow! Mo's Digital pencil has a Challenge Blog and the challenge is to use 3 types of glittery things on your card. yeah!! So..on here I have used my Glitter Ritz in white on the white fuz of these CUTE singing kitties santa hats, plus on the little xmas bauble Ive used CTMH's glitter rub ons. I tried to use their glitter sheets that come with them but it didnt show up very well so I tried it with some of my red glitter ritz and it worked GREAT so....(it says Silent Night, hard to see from the photo) and then I've spritzed the whole card with my Glimmer Mist, Irredescent Gold (the BEST bottle to buy if you're going to get any!) Can I just say THIS is the image that hooked me on Mo's... well this and the Bat Cat... (ya...I like cats). ARen't they funny?!?! ANyhow, thanks for looking!!

And the inside.
Oh! you know I never even say anymore that I colour with Copics....I just always do! LOL

Mojo Monday ~ Thank you Card

This is my entry for the Challenge over at Mojo Monday I always love thier sketches. Anyhow, I was really happy with this one. This just seems like a "Cheri card" This was a Freebie image from Mo's digital Pencil and WOW!! I just loved it and couldn't wait to colour it. I had actually started on another card but this image was laying on the desk and well....I put the other stuff aside and did this instead. When I started to lay out the card it just seemed fitting that the image be inside...like looking thru a window at her. and viola...this is what we ended up with. Hope you like and thanks for looking. :o)
