Found a little Mojo!

OK! Whew! I was so happy to actually find alittle time to actually work on a card...and well... even enjoyed it for a change... I've just been so busy I can't seem to find much time for the pink room lately and well... when I have made myself go in there, I struggle to find any desire to make much. But I was determined to get a card done for my DT over at The Sketchy Girls (formally know as Pink Ink)... and I was worried as, while Kirsty's sketch is awesome... it's round!!! Yikes! and for a girl with an AWL Mojo THAT is a challenge! But once I wrapped my head around a plan (to make a circle a square again....LOL) I actually really enjoyed myself. Going to try it again tomorrow and see what happens. :) Anyhow... Thanks for stickin around waitin for me to post another card.... here she is!
It's not the greatest photo... but what I did was use this cute Snowman from Whipper Snapper, and put him on a large chipboard snowflake that I painted with white crackle (ok i dont know what is up with me and TH Paints and glues...but every one I buy is DRIED UP!!! ARGH!) so the white paint was almost a think pasty cement I smeared all over it... then distressed and added some of those Stampendous Mica bits...so pretty... but are now everywhere!!! And for the ROUND part... I've used white and brown tuille... honest...it's there... look close! :) Anyhow... here is the actual sketch!

Pop on over and join me and the other fabulous girls! We have a couple of new FaB ladies joining us so check it out!
Cheers!

AND these FAB Hot Chocolate papers that I bought too late in the season to make anything with..... so... here's what I've done.
Now....Im feelin so bad about not colouring this poor fella before that Im sure I'll be using him again before this xmas.... cause he was so fun to colour and he looks SO CUTE!

Stamptacular Sunday DT ~ Shadow Box Card

OK! So I totally lost track of what freakin day it is!!! Geesh! I was thinking it was Saturday and I'd post tonight! BUT NO!!!! It's Sunday! Ugh! What a moron. So I'm sorry my post for Stamptacular Sunday is late! Our challenge this week is to:
FRAME IT!!!
We want you to some how frame your image on your projects. I took this opportunity to try that Shadow box technique and frame one of my FAV Whipper Snapper stamps.
I just love this effect, the photo doesn't really show just how dimensional it is. But it's VERY fun.
then on the inside it looks like

I've covered the back of the shadow box and used a Quickutz die to decorate. The sentiments I've used are from a Kraftin Kimmie set and then I've of course used some nesties. That gorgeous paper is LUSH.
Now, Im going to be teaching this card as an upcoming class at Creative Accents. Watch our calendar for the date. Thanks for stopping by everyone!!!

November SOTM and Copic Club at Creative Accents

Hi everyone!!! I should have posted this card yesterday, but I'm really fighting some sort of flu bug that really keeps knocking me down. I have said it before, I LoooooooVE Whipper Snapper Stamps and so I was obviously over the moon when Tara at Creative Accents not only said she was bringing them into the store but making this little guy the November stamp of the month.
I could not resist adding glitter to every inch of this card! LOL I 3D'd my little snowman friend here and added glitter everywhere. Here's a closer look a the image below.

Now I figured this was a good time to mention our upcoming Copic Club on Friday night, November the 5th. We were going to work on hair, but I figured that since we're all starting up our Christmas cards that maybe we should work on some Christmas images, we'll colour some snow and I'll show you some fun tricks to make glowing light and add glitter in just the right spots! Whaddaya think?? So Friday night! Copic club! 6:30 till 9pm!!! See ya at Creative Accents (oh ya, please call them at the store to reserve your spot!!)
Cheers

Sketch and Stash Challenge

Here is my entry for the Sketch and Stash Challenge Here they challenge you to USE YOUR STASH. Be it old and neglected or new and fabulous! Here I've done a bit of both. I've had this CUTE Whipper Snapper for awhile and have not yet used him... I KNOW. It just goes to show you how many stamps I have that this cute dude could get neglected! LOL Ive coloured him up with my not so neglected copics :o) But perhaps a few new colours??!?! LOL I've also bought some new Basic Grey papers (Origins) I ran some vellum thru the CB for the background. I love vellun for stuff like this... sometimes I just hate to cover up too much of that gorgeous DP so the vellum is a nice way to add elements without loosing too much of the paper. BUT! Argh, I get so frustrated trying to adhere it without being able to see the adhesive! Drives me insane. Must invent GOOD vellum adhesive.... Anyhow. I've also used some embroidery thread as embellies, to look like the kitty's yarn. This is ALSO an easel card. How I love these things.
I messed up stamping the inside sentiment, which is a Penny Black stamp (who knew?!? Not me till I saw the name on the side as I was inking it up!! LOL) I almost filed it in the bin but then thought....HEY the sentiment says "nobody's perfect" so.... we left it! LOL Anyhow. Thanks for looking. Have a creative day!!! ;o)

Mojo Monday ~ Whipper Snapper

This is my entry for this week's challenge over at Mojo Monday I always love their sketches. And I had this FAB idea in my head for the card and well....it just didn't turn out as I'd planned. My problem these days is I have more ideas than time to put them together and while making one card/project Im allready thinking of another and well... I think I lost the heart on this one. I do still like it as well....another one of my favorite images by Whipper Snapper. I think he is my first WS actually and well.... you know how it is with firsts! ;o)  LOL The little sentiment stamp is by Stampendous. Bought it to go with this exact stamp! LOL Thanks for looking!!

The Begining of the Christmas Cards

So this isn't for a challenge of any kind. It's just the beginning of my xmas cards. I spent the afternoon over at my dear friends house on Sunday and I actually managed to make up 2 of these little cuties for the xmas card box!! yeah! wonder how many cards I can do before smas?? LOL These adorable little penquins are from Whipper Snapper (um...a stamp of Eulanda's that I seem to still have in my possesion...sorry GF!! well not really sorry...but you know what I mean LOL) The papers are from the HUGE DCWV pack I got when at the coast for the Creative Expo, same with that gorgeous Martha Stewart punch Ive used.

thanks for looking everyone!!! Whew! Think this is it or the night....that first post stressed me out.

Jay's Birthday Card (was just ALITTLE late)

OK! LOL This card just makes me laugh. While shopping with Shelley at the coast last weekend. Shelley found the inside sentiment to this card...then we matched it up to this HILARIOUS stamp from Whipper Snappers (who will ALWAYS remain my favorite stamps company) There's sort of a long funny story to this but to make it abit shorter. My poor husband last year, was once so tired from work that when he got back to his shop, and could not see his car...figured it was stolen, called and reported it stolen to both the police and insurance company's. Then, later, as he was being driven home by a co worker, he was suddenly reminded of where his car was (at his mom's house ;o) LMAO) So....it isa HUGE joke now...that he lost his car. Needless to say that this was the PERFECT stamp and sentiment for it. Even more perfect cause the car in the stamp is a FORD (as is his car and truck for that matter) I changed the licence plate to say NEWMAN which is his nickname (it originally says CHKNFMR). He laughed. Loves his card, Thank God he has a great sence of humor and enjoys both teasing others and being teased. ;o) Good thing or I'm sure we'd be divorced long ago! LOL Here is the inside...

Oh, it still makes me laugh!! LOL

Boo Ble Bath/Friday Sketchers

This was such a great sketch over at Friday Sketchers And I seem to be on a halloween card kick at the moment! This was actually a Whipper Snapper image I got a month or so ago and had not had a chance to ink/colour it up yet! I love how this all came together, but it's rather odd for me as I'm really not a Purple kinda gal! And this card is pretty much ALL purple! Anyhow!! I think it came out all right! Hope you like and thanks for looking.

Cat Halloween

Look what I got on Friday!!! A shipment (yes, it was big enough to call it a shipment!!! LMAO) of Whipper Snappers!! Who hooooooo!! Ok, so not ALL of  them for me..... BUT one of them was this one! SO CUTE!! It's called "Pumpkin, Kitty and Witchy Frog!" LOve it!! Anyhow! I had to colour this one first......because...well there's a CAT IN IT! And it looks like my sweet Monster Kitten (Cat seen in above header photo). This was the result of my efforts. I used an old sketch from Mojo Monday forthe layout. I just sort of make this for fun and then I stumbled across this little challenge site for.....wait for it.... CATS!!! Oh my God! Why have I not found this before?!?! I quickly added my name to their followers and decided to enter this in their current challenge for Autum cards with a CAT on it!! I can see entering this challenge alot in the future since SO many of my stamps are Cat related! LOL

Here is the card breakdown:

Im Sorry

Im in love with this card. Ive made it for myself, it sits on my desk and makes me smile. The front stamp is from Inkadinkado, the kids sayings stamps and reads, "You know it's been a good day if you didn't hit or bite anyone." Then the dog on the front and then the full stamp image on the inside is from Whipper Snapper (my favs) I hand wrote, "Better Luck Tommorrow" on the inside cause I dont have a computer at home that lets me do anything quickly and sometimes not at all... and well it adds to my allready high stress level of the moment. SO! Hand writing it is for now. Must get new competer soon. ANyhow, back to my card. The papers are all from CTMH, the Sarsaparilla pack. sorry the pics are kinda out of order, I need to spend some time figgering out how to do all this blog stuff properly... but once again.... read above on computer issues..... LOL Thanks for looking.

OH and on the chipboard stars and circles (also from CTMH I used liguid glass as well as on the dogs nose and on the inside on the lady bug and bone I liguid glassed them... it's a neat little touch that only fellow scrapbookers seem to catch!! LMAO

Happy Mother's Day

I LOVE this stamp!! It's a Whipper Snapper of course, my all time fav line of stamps. Always will be I think! This is Ducks in a Row! they are so very cute!! I wanted to think of some clever thing to make the last little ducky say....cause it looks like he's talking back... but wasnt' feelin very clever i guess. Anyhow, turned it into a plain mother's day card. But it's a CUTE one!!!

A Boy Is...

I made this canvas for my cousin's new baby boy! I wanted to make something to hang in his room and I love this little saying. If you can't read it all it reads. A Boy Is.... Trust with dirt on his face, Wisdom with a cut on his finger and Hope for the future with a frog in his pocket. And it went so well with my Whipper Snapper stamp Eli and Frogger!!

I've painted the canvas with MM paint, the green letters are chipboard. Orange letters are cut with Quickutz. I cant remember the name of the PP at the moment. I'll have to look it up and come back! Damn.... I can almost see it!! Anyhow, I like how this one turned out. I hope she likes it too.

Who hoo!! I can do it! LOL So this is a Whipper Snapper!! My all time favs! LOVE LOVE LOVE these guys! This is Opposites attract, coloured with copics. Cardstock is CTMH. Used my Cuttlebug to emboss the swirls. Patterned Paper is By BoBunny (Love them!!!) The stamped sentiment is from CTMH. I like this one, it turned out quite good I think. Thanks for looking!!
