Sketch and Stash Challenge

Here is my entry for the Sketch and Stash Challenge Here they challenge you to USE YOUR STASH. Be it old and neglected or new and fabulous! Here I've done a bit of both. I've had this CUTE Whipper Snapper for awhile and have not yet used him... I KNOW. It just goes to show you how many stamps I have that this cute dude could get neglected! LOL Ive coloured him up with my not so neglected copics :o) But perhaps a few new colours??!?! LOL I've also bought some new Basic Grey papers (Origins) I ran some vellum thru the CB for the background. I love vellun for stuff like this... sometimes I just hate to cover up too much of that gorgeous DP so the vellum is a nice way to add elements without loosing too much of the paper. BUT! Argh, I get so frustrated trying to adhere it without being able to see the adhesive! Drives me insane. Must invent GOOD vellum adhesive.... Anyhow. I've also used some embroidery thread as embellies, to look like the kitty's yarn. This is ALSO an easel card. How I love these things.
I messed up stamping the inside sentiment, which is a Penny Black stamp (who knew?!? Not me till I saw the name on the side as I was inking it up!! LOL) I almost filed it in the bin but then thought....HEY the sentiment says "nobody's perfect" so.... we left it! LOL Anyhow. Thanks for looking. Have a creative day!!! ;o)
