Time 4 Tea Canvas

Geesh! Can you believe it? Another creation! And I'm about 3 behind in posting too! So watch for some more soon. This canvas was made for my dear friend Janet over at Hillside Creations. It was her birthday a few weeks back and this was what I made her. Still continuing on my plan to make all my friends wall hangings for their birthdays. Janet is obviously a tea drinker, and her work is our meeting place for many chats. We have solved many wars and marriages and wounds all siting around her coffee break room!! so I thought this would look perfect hanging on her wall in her break room!

So! I've used this Alice in Wonderland themed idea for a MAd Hatter tea. This is of course an older Tickled Pink stamp (one of my all time FAVS!!) and then I've used some quickcutz or Lifestyle Crafts dies to cut out the tea pot and cups. I wanted to make it look like the tea was pouring out and into all the cups like a champagne tower. So I used my glue gun to create the water stream and then painted over the glue with liquid pearls.

I've been quite addicted to buying the paper that most lines come with these days of sayings and strips of the lines paper patterns. And this one.....I THINK is from an American Crafts line of papers and I've used this quote to stand out on the peice.
